The First Step Webinar for Start-Up

Seeking Solutions Series
This program, brought to you by the
Kutztown University Students in Free
Enterprise (SIFE), consists of six
full-day events that will be led by
experts and local business leaders
who are willing to share their
knowledge and experience with the
business community.
The fourth of these events will be
held on February 3, and is titled "Cash Flow and Capital in Recessionary Times."
The luncheon and networking event
begins at noon and includes a
presentation by Jay Sidhu, CEO of
New Century Bank.
A research summary presentation will
be given at 3:00 p.m., titled
"Surviving to Thrive: What is
Different About Companies that
Flourish During Recessions?." The
speaker will be Dr. CJ Rhoads,
Associate Professor, College of
Business, Kutztown University. For

business, this workshop is for you.
In fact, even if you have started
your business and are realizing that
you missed a few things, this
workshop is still right for you.
This workshop will provide an

know and the skills you need to have
to manage a small business. Subjects
include: legal and accounting
issues, organization, and
management. The workshop offers you
the opportunity to practice
networking with other entrepreneurs.
Existing business owners can use
this workshop as a "checkup" on
their operations. This workshop is
presented in partnership with the
Small Business Assistance Center.
