The Pulse of Business Banner

Over the past three years, have you taken one or more steps to reduce the amount of energy your business consumes?

The Pulse of Business is a series of monthly polls conducted at www.kutztownsbdc.org.  The SBDC poll results can be compared to The National Small Business Poll performed by the NFIB.  The NFIB poll uses samples of small business owners from across the United States.

The poll question for the month of February is:

Is your website interactive in the sense that customers can reach you directly through it, place orders, or receive responses?

Adding Value

Adding value or the common phrase, creating a "value proposition" really comes down to - what are you adding to your client or prospect's business or life that will help it and/or them function more effectively, efficiently, and/or make more money and profits.

Almost every salesperson has a tendency to tell the prospect or client how great their product or service is without fully understanding the reason the buyer would even entertain purchasing from them in the first place.

How to Choose a Webmaster - Cruising the Online Street

Browsing is reminiscent of the cruising teenagers used to do in there 1954 Chevrolets.   Cruising the downtown street was an opportunity to visit favorite places, say hello to friends, get current information of interest and just enjoy the world in general.

Browsing, or cruising, the internet offers many of the same conventions while you sit in the driver's seat at your computer.   On the internet are your favorite sites, instant messaging and email for touching base with your friends, up-to-the minute information about any topic of interest and a way to access the whole world.
