The KU SBDC Offers a
Clear Image of Success
for
ProView Ultrasound
|
Faced with the
challenges of
cultivating their
newborn business,
the owners of
ProView Ultrasound,
Rob and Bethann
Greenawalt, knew
they needed to boost
cash flow to take
their business to
the next level.
In August of 2007, a
few months after
opening, they
contacted the
Kutztown University
Small Business
Development Center
for guidance. Since
then, ProView
Ultrasound has
doubled its
business, and in
March the company
celebrated its
highest revenue to
date.

Planning for Financial
Success
By
Michael Fischer,
CLU, ChFC
Think of your
family as a
business. It
has financial
goals and must
produce ongoing
revenue to meet
those goals. To
reach those
goals, like a
business, you
and your family
need a financial
strategy.
You'll need to begin, of
course, by defining your
goals. Most people, for
example, want to save to
buy a house, pay for
college or prepare for
retirement. Your
financial goals should
be more precise. Where
do you want your home
and how large should it
be? What college do you
want your child or
children attending, and
when?

To Be or
Not to Be-
that Really is the
Question
|
|
So often, we wrap ourselves
up in semantics, and forget
the deeper meaning- in our
personal
and and business
lives. This month, Dan
Goldberg walks you through
how
"Do you have a plan and
method for expansion? Do you
believe in yourself and your
dream?, Do you have a
marketing plan?" Goldberg
covers these questions plus
17 more!
