Small Businesses |

This four part seminar series sponsored by EDS, an HP
Companion, the Harrisburg Regional Chamber,
the CREDC (Capital Region Economic
Development Corporation) and the KU SBDC
will commence on February 20, 2009 at the
Harrisburg Regional Chamber Office.
The first workshop in this series is titled "The Pitch":
Your Business Story. This interactive
workshop will help you quickly translate
your business ideas into a powerful
marketing message. Based on the
Pitch-then-Plan process inspired by Guy
Kawaski's best-selling book, The Art of
the Start, this workshop will help you
develop an effective sales strategy.
The workshop will help you to be concise and
concrete about the aspects of your
success--what you know, what you will do and
what you are selling.

John Hannafin Paints 10,000 Mile Journey
with Help From the KU SBDC and the SEA
Program
John Hannafin's zest for his work is clearly
illustrated through his lively and fluid
paintings. In a project called, Art Across
America, his brush captured images across
the country from the east coast and
throughout the west, but passion doesn't pay
the rent. Business planning guidance from
the Kutztown University Small Business
Development Center has helped Hannafin to
create a living from what he lives to do.

7 Week SEA Program

This dynamic live workshop series will run
for seven weeks, and each three-hour session
will offer business ideas. The program
starts with a conference call and online
learning when you contact us.
