Lucas Lane Inc. is a working veal farm and an oil filter recycling facility. Oil filters of all sizes, from lawnmowers to locomotives find their way to this pastoral setting, where David Lucas and his family recycle them for scrap steel and waste oil. With help from the KU SBDC, Lucas Lane Inc. has grown to servicing a 60-mile radius of Reading, and has landed a contract with the National Guard. Read More
